Traveling is already difficult with all the security checks, traffic at the airport and the cuts in service by the airlines. How many times have you been waiting for your luggage and see it on the carousel but there are a lot of people in your way? You start to run around the carousel pushing and shoving people trying to get to you luggage. This can stop. This must stop. Too many people crowd around the carousel making it difficult to reach your baggage if you are behind the people that are standing right on the edge of the carousel. By recognizing the Maland Line, 28%-35% more people could get to their luggage easier without having to push people out of the way. Of course, people shouldn’t just stand at the line but use it as a guideline to stand behind. The Maland Line is 2 meters or 6.6 feet around the luggage carousel. Not following the Maland Line is not a criminal act but please politely tell the "offenders" to recognize the Maland Line. If there is no Maland Line present, then have people take 3-5 steps backward away from the carousel. An example of people not following the Maland Line and a couple of people who are:
